Terrain: Mixed – game tracks, farm roads, rocky mountain paths, and river crossings.
Start / Finish: Inside Imire Conservancy (race village & spectator zone).

Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservancy is a 10 000-acre sanctuary dedicated to protecting endangered species — particularly black rhino and elephant — through breeding, community outreach and anti-poaching programs.
By taking part in RunImire, you’re directly contributing to that mission: a portion of every entry goes to Imire’s wildlife protection and local education initiatives.
Trails that Test, Views that Reward
All races begin and end inside the park’s main area, with early-morning starts and finishes at the RunImire Race Village.
After leaving the conservancy gates, the courses traverse neighbouring farms and climb into surrounding mountains for breathtaking views of the Wedza hills before looping back home to Imire.
8 km — The Wanderer
Ideal for beginners and families. Gentle undulations across farm roads and light bush paths. Expect views of open plains and glimpses of wildlife near the park boundary.
16 km — The Challenger
A proper trail test: rolling farmland, rocky outcrops and short mountain climbs. Perfect balance of distance, elevation and scenery.
30 km — The Explorer
A bold route that ascends into the surrounding mountains, combining rugged terrain with sweeping plateau views. Designed for seasoned trail runners seeking a tough but rewarding course.
